This may cause a delay in our response to your application” Bucklands Community in Port Elliot is a space designed for activities, connection and well being, where everyone in the community can get together. Bucklands is a community inclusive, family fun, autism friendly environment, set on 48 acres of small buildings, gardens, woodlands, wetlands, and re-vegetation areas, and is within walking distance to Rattalanga-Bashams Reserve. The Centre, with the help of volunteers, runs a range of programs to benefit the community. Bucklands is looking for Workshop Activity Assistants to support the program facilitators with different group activities, for example: pottery, craft, sewing, drumming etc, and assisting with nominated tasks. You will be contributing to the effective running of the activities, including assisting with workshop preparation and cleanup. This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse range of people, helping them to learn and grow their knowledge in a variety of skills and creative activities. Volunteer need to be punctual, reliable, well spoken and relate well to people with disabilities.
