About this opportunity
Essential Criteria:
- Own transport or capacity to organise
- Working with children check (Over 18’s)
- Completed Volunteer form and undertaken volunteer induction
- Check-in/sign in to centre upon arrival and departure EACH time the centre is attended.
Desirable Criteria:
- Worked in previous admin type role
- Welcoming, positive, happy personality to engage with people upon arrival at the centre.
Skills and Attributes:
- Computer skills
- Comfortable to answer phone and record general enquiry messages
- Confidence to greet people upon arrival
- Ability to point people in the right direction or engage in general discussions about the programs
- Ability to work, at times unsupervised.
Duties & Task Examples:
- Greeting volunteers & assist with check-in/sign in upon arrival and departure
- Answering of phone and recording of messages.
- Laminating resources when necessary
- Cleaning of helmets & boots after use
- Disinfecting Mechanical horse & room in-between sessions
- General cleaning of building/toilets/riders’ room if & when required.
We have a COVIDSafe plan and training in place. This includes the use QR codes, social distancing and attendance protocols
