Project Manager - Allied Health Program

About the role:

The role entails developing & implementing new Allied Health Programs, Project Planning, Approval and Accreditation documentation, Identifying and building new teams for service development, initiating and overseeing the project, including managing stakeholder engagement and quality assurance.

You will provide strategic planning, team development and service development to support children and adults with disabilities funded under the NDIS, their families, and carers.

This role is remote based in any part of Australia.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Keeping up to date on government regulations and funding bodies such as the NDIA
  • Assisting with recruitment & organising training of Client Services team members
  • Developing network of referral agents
  • Developing efficiency of administrative processes
  • Implementing new software and training staff
  • Oversee and manage the delivery of projects and initiatives to achieve operational and strategic goals.
  • Manage meeting organisation and record keeping of meetings and with accrediting bodies and health facilities.
  • Contribute to the organisation and development of curricula and online learning materials.
  • Promote community awareness in relation to mental health and act as a consultant to other agencies about the support and management of clients with mental health needs.
  • Prepare a specialist assessment, case management plans to clients of Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Disabled and Older Persons Mental Health Service and their families or carers.
  • Prepare risk assessments, initial assessments, media consent forms, service agreements and other forms as required

Nice to have

  • Experience in writing assessments and reports for the purposes of NDIS requirements.
  • Good working knowledge of the NDIS.
  • Skilled in the provision of supervision and education to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in working with children and young people through to adults with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities and their families.
  • Ability to provide high quality service and assessments within your professional discipline for children and young people and adults with a disability.
  • Knowledge of standard practices, methods and techniques associated with the provision of high-quality support services.
  • Experience working in the Allied Health sectors with an understanding of structures and processes.
  • Desirable are experience with writing program and course proposals and/or experience of accreditation documentation and requirements for Allied Health professions.
  • High level of experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including Google Workspace. Asana, Jira and Confluence are desirable and methodologies like SCRUM & Agile.
