About this opportunity

'The Shed' at Burton Community Hub hosts a variety of centred programs for community members where they can create personal and/or community-based projects.

We are seeking volunteers to provide training support to people with disability with their woodwork projects or provide assistance in learning basic computer functions by either working alongside a participant, provide leadership, having a conversation or making suggestions.

About you

  • No prior teaching experience required, your passion and willingness to share your wood working, basic computer knowledge is what matters the most!
  • Must be friendly, patient with good interpersonal skills
  • Be available on Tuesdays, 9am to 3pm.
