Participant Support Volunteer – The Shed @ Burton
About this opportunity
'The Shed' at Burton Community Hub hosts a variety of centred programs for community members where they can create personal and/or community-based projects.
We are seeking volunteers to provide training support to people with disability with their woodwork projects or provide assistance in learning basic computer functions by either working alongside a participant, provide leadership, having a conversation or making suggestions.
About you
- No prior teaching experience required, your passion and willingness to share your wood working, basic computer knowledge is what matters the most!
- Must be friendly, patient with good interpersonal skills
- Be available on Tuesdays, 9am to 3pm.

* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
