Urgent - Support volunteers at Homeless Hub East Perth
About this opportunity
We welcome volunteers who are passionate about ending homelessness and who are eager to make a change at a local level. Volunteers must have good communication skills and be able to work with staff, service users, and other volunteers in a non-judgmental, patient, and friendly manner.
Volunteers must be willing to adhere to policies and processes including confidentiality and maintaining boundaries. A commitment to completing training requirements (including e-learning) is required for Volunteers at Tranby.
Volunteers assist with the delivery of a superb service in our kitchen and provide the people we support with essential items Tasks for volunteers at Tranby include food planning, preparation and distribution, sorting arranging food deliveries, upkeep of the kitchen and the option to operate commercial kitchen equipment.

National Police Certificate *.
Role specific Training includes:
• Uniting Induction, orientation and training
Volunteering with Uniting is subject to completing the relevant role specific training and satisfactory background checks which include a National Police Check and Reference Checks. (Police Clearance applications can be organised by Uniting)
7am-1pm Monday – Friday 7am-12 noon Saturday 12-5pm Sunday
