About this opportunity

Benefits of being a Volunteer Repairer include:

  • Having morning tea provided at each Repair Lab event
  • Provided with free access to any workshops held at Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre
  • Being able to promote their repair business at the event, provided repairs done at the Repair Lab Melville event are done free of charge (if applicable)
  • Being invited to attend City of Melville National Volunteer Week activities


Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *.

• 3 hours on a Sunday morning at least 3-4 times a year
• Friendly demeanor when engaging with the public
• Have skills and experience repairing any of the following:
- Electrical appliances
- Textiles ((machinist, darning)
• Have and bring own tools and repair equipment to events

* May be arranged via the Organisation. Details to be provided on expression of interest.
Time Required

• 3 hours on a Sunday morning at least 3-4 times a year
