About this opportunity

If you enjoy working outdoors, as part of a team, and have some handyperson skills, then you'll be well suited for this role. A natural aptitude and the physical ability to carry out minor maintenance work are needed as you will be taking care of boardwalks and buildings. Tasks will include general minor repairs to infrastructure. This role will primarily be need on Mondays and Tuesdays, but times are flexible (half or full day). Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19.

Set in a beautiful natural site of international significance, you'll have the chance to connect with nature whilst contributing to a valuable Hunter community asset. Become part of an enthusiastic team of fellow-volunteers with a common love of the outdoors.

You'll be given every support and supervision, including Occupational Health and Safety training. Training is also provided for the operation of relevant equipment. Induction sessions are held each Wednesday at 10:30am or by special arrangement.

General handyperson skills which might include painting, carpentry etc.

Time Required

Primary need is Monday and Tuesday. Actual hours are flexible (half or full day).
