About this opportunity
You will bring your bright, bubbly personality to the front area on the ground floor of the newest health facility in the Hunter Region.
The role will be patient, carer and visitor support from the front door, to the lifts and beyond. There will be help needed to assist with familiarisation with the new facilities for many months so this need not be an ongoing commitment.
You must be eligible for inoculations like influenza and a private meeting with staff health will be arranged to give you all the requirements.

We will provide all training and support plus the National Police Check and visit to Staff Health. You must provide evident of double COVID-19 vaccination. You should have your application for the Working with Children Check before applying. A uniform is provided with a deposit of $20 (fully refundable when returned).

Training will commence with orientation to the new facilities of Maitland Hospital where you will receive a buddy and will be training in WHS, hand hygiene and other key aspects to keep you and the patients safe.Reimbursement
A sandwich and sweet are provided to volunteers who work more than 5 hours plus coffee and tea is provided for morning or afternoon tea.
