About this opportunity
Our group meets to discuss ideas bi-monthly on a Thursday from 2.30-3.30pm. We are seeking several people to help us shape the club, the activities for our members to enjoy and the occasional boring stuff like fees and forms. The committee roles are important to ensure this group continues well into the future, providing a valuable community asset for those who have reached or are soon to reach their golden years. Clubs like ours are important for self-esteem, making friends, mental and physical health and we are ready to welcome new volunteers. We encourage applications from diverse people including all ages, cultures, genders, religions and abilities. We are over Centrelink approved for over 55yrs should you have a mutual obligation to fulfill through volunteering
