About this opportunity
This volunteer position requires you to use your own vehicle so you can stay in your own area and pay it forward to your community.
We have clients who are in their own homes and will sometimes require someone to visit and have coffee and a chat. Or, you can pick them up and go to the local coffee shop to socialise in the community. Or, it could be a shopping trip!!
Our current volunteers tell us that they receive enormous satisfaction from providing this service to our clients and benefit from the relationships they form.
You will be required have a current drivers licence and current comprehensive insurance and registration.
Full induction and assistance will be provided by our supportive Transport staff.
Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.
Potential Volunteers must hold a current minimum 'C' class driver licence. People Who Care will conduct a mandatory police check at no cost to the volunteer.
You will need to complete on-line driver assessment and mandatory COVID-19 training. You require current registration and insurance. Advanced First Aid desirable, but not essential.
