About this opportunity

Local aged care facility is looking for people to engage with people living with dementia to potter in the gardens, water and tend to the variety of plants. Not hard work, just the opportunity to share your love for gardening. Ideally, it would be appreciated if you could have an availability of at least one hour per week. Days and times to suit each applicant.

Training/induction provided as well as access to online dementia training. You'll receive ongoing support and supervision from the volunteer coordinator. You'll also be required to complete the NDIS Quality, Safety and You online training module and the NDIS Screening Check. The National Criminal Check is needed and will be organised and paid for by the organisation.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Others .

All volunteers are required to have a flu vaccination each year.
