About this opportunity

Baptcare offers young families support in the western are of Melbourne via their volunteer mentor program - Home start. Volunteers are trained and spend time with mum or dad, chatting about life with kids, sharing their own care giver experiences and offering encouragement and support to parents who are new to the parenting journey.

You may go for a walk, have a coffee in a cafe while the kids play, chat with them at home or just simply spend time together and give mum or dad some adult conversation while the kids play.

Additional requirements

All volunteers are required to undertake our security check program and training. Baptcare will cover all costs associated with security checks and training
