Female Volunteer Needed to Visit an Elderly Lady

About this opportunity

We are looking for someone who would enjoy building a one-to-one friendship with Janet by making a commitment to visit her on a regular basis for up to one hour once per fortnight. She is currently living in an Aged Care facility in Kensington and loves listening to music, sitting outside in the sun and helping others.

By befriending an older person living in a residential setting, you will be making a positive difference in their life.

As a community visitor you will also be invited to attend regular CVS Team Appreciation Events and Workshops.

Additional requirements

Driver's Licence (C) .

CVS will complete a Volunteer Police Clearance Check on your behalf.
You are asked to meet the coordinator to chat some more about what's involved.
An important requirement is that you acquire the flu vaccination annually.

One hour once a fortnight. Times and days are flexible to suit your schedule.
