Opening hour volunteer

Community Services Regular - more than 6 months Atwell WA

About this opportunity

The Atwell Toy Library is a volunteer run community service that opens on Saturdays from 9.30am to 10.30am, at the Atwell Community Centre. We stock a wide range of toys and equipment for children aged 0-7.

We are looking for several volunteers, to work on a rotational basis, to help with the set up, running, and pack up of the Saturday open sessions (where families come in and take out items to borrow). It would involve being at the Atwell Community Centre at 9.15am, helping our loans officer to set up the desks/items, helping wipe and count items as they are returned, then packing up at 10.30am (which takes about 15 minutes).

If volunteers have their own children, they are welcome to bring them, as children are welcome to play while they are there, and there are toilets available to use.

Please note this position is advertised by the City of Cockburn Volunteer Resource Centre on behalf of the organisation above.
