About this opportunity

RSPCA NSW is seeking a positive, upbeat and organised Graphic Designer who is able to produce collateral asset according to RSPCA NS standard for print and web (However, likely to be used internally to engage and connect with our teams. This role will require that you store and record working files, revisions and archives.

As a Graphic Designer, you can use your valuable organisation skills to develop fun and engaging content for numerous creative requests, organising and documenting supplied creative work, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner and ensuring deliverables are communicated effectively and professionally.

This role is perfect for an individual with a designer’s flair who wants to give back to animals in a creative and engaging way.

What this volunteer role looks like

  • Processing creative requests from across our organisation

  • Reporting questions or issues to the Internal Engagement Coordinator, where necessary

  • Maintaining and updating accurate records in our internal database

  • Complying with all Work Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines

  • Understanding and complying with RSPCA NSW policies and procedures Training from our Internal Engagement team

  • Guidance and feedback from our Internal Engagement Coordinator

  • Inclusion in a team focussed on animal welfare and providing excellent communications to our internal community at RSPCA NSW

  • Ongoing support for other opportunities in the organisation, where possible

What we need from you

  • Undergo a National Criminal History Check (costs covered by RSPCA NSW)

  • Familiarity with design brief requirements and creative details (i.e., project scopes, digital media types etc)

  • Ability to organise information and upload content onto cloud base networks

  • Excellent computer skills (essential)

  • Excellent administration skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to follow direction and work within a team or autonomously

  • Positive attitude

  • Have experience in graphic design

Additional requirements

Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.
