About this opportunity
The event is expected to attract over 1,000 participants from the community who will be walking as one! We are looking for Beach Marshalls to help us with the 3km parade along Burleigh Beach. Our beach parade participants will walk in single file and in these COVID times, we need everyone to stay socially distanced and we need your help in ensuring this is done in a fun, encouraging and good-natured way. If you are confident, like to be involved in community events, enjoy being outdoors and want to help save the city’s Koalas - this volunteer role is for you! Not to mention, you’ll also get to spend the afternoon on one of the Gold Coast’s best beaches! You are able to assist with people, directing and answering questions. We will also be seeking Team Leaders to assist the Beach Marshall team.
