Cellar Door - Wine Volunteers

About this opportunity

Douglas Vale Historic Homestead and Vineyard, a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers since 1995 are looking for volunteers with an interest in wine to work in our Licenced Cellar.
Duties include:

  1. Washing glasses and wiping down tables
  2. Learning about our wines and DV History
  3. Helping to maintain stock levels,
  4. Process Cash and Eftpos sales for wine purchases
  5. Support functions and event
  6. Enjoy talking to visitors

After some training and volunteering, you can progress to pouring wine and providing information to small groups of people.

As Douglas Vale is a Licenced Venue you will require a current RSA ticket or be willing to acquire one. The Douglas Vale Volunteer team is friendly, meeting as a group for coffee or tea every morning we are open while enjoying the support this team provides.

Cellar Shifts are available 9.00 am to 12.30 pm or 12.30 pm to 3.15 pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays or Sundays. You will eventually be asked to participate in a cellar door roster.

To be on roster for various wednesdays, saturdays & sundays for half day shift to from 9.30 to3pm
