Summer Beach Ambassador Volunteer - Mermaid Beach SLSC

About this opportunity

CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR THIS SUMMER SEASON. (Volunteer once per month or more frequently based on your availability).

Roll out the beach wheelchair matting, setup the marquee(s) and have all equipment “ready to go” including chairs, assistive technology and other necessary equipment; greet the service users and provide a demonstration on how to use the equipment; provide a 'helping hand to anyone wanting to use the chairs and mats; ensure the carer and user have signed the necessary paperwork to allow them to access the beach chairs. 9am - 3pm (4 hour shifts) Sunday morning and afternoons.

Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate ^*. Working with Children Check ^*.

COVID vaccination mandatory.
National police check, Yellow Card and Blue card required.
Uniform and lunch supplied.
Sunday morning and afternoon 8 am - 4 pm (4 hour shifts)
15 hours available if required

Time Required
