  • Knowledge of GovHack or a similar large scale Hackathon

  • Previous experience using the Google Suite

The first phase of the role will involve recruiting the state team, getting yourself ready for the year and familiarising with GovHack processes (April - May). It is then expected you will have regular meetings with your regional team to manage all activities, along with attending meetings with the National team. You will be securing local sponsors and events

The busiest period (May – Sep) involves planning and delivering all state events and supporting local event teams and promoting GovHack.

**Competition Weekend **– assist in the set up and delivery of events across the state from the Friday 6 Sep to Sunday 8 Sep.

State Awards- secure sponsorship and venue for an awards presentation approx one month after the competition weekend.

Time Required

The time commitment required over the duration of the year will differ greatly depending on the phase of the project, however, it is anticipated that a minimum of 3 – 5 hours a week will be required.
