Volunteer Gardeners needed - Peel & Mandurah

Community Services Regular - more than 6 months Mandurah WA

About this opportunity

Chorus are looking for compassionate, caring volunteers to become a part of our volunteer gardening team. This service is a lifeline for many people in the community, helping them to maintain their gardens by providing general gardening assistance such as pruning, raking, mowing lawns, hedging, yard tidying to help keep their garden safe and tidy.

Our customers are elderly or people living with a disability and may have restricted mobility and are unable to maintain their gardens themselves.

This type of volunteering is a great way to get out into the fresh air, and meet new people or to gain work experience for your CV. We have a range of volunteers at Chorus, everyone from teenagers to older people.

Chorus is an equal opportunity employer. People from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
