About this opportunity
Sydney Multicultural Community Services, ACVVS program serves culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) residents, who may be isolated by limited family support, language and cultural barriers.
Essential Criteria: • Respect the rights of the client including confidentiality, privacy and maintain dignity. • Exercise a duty of care at all times. • Communication skills (listening and speaking skills). • Emotional qualification skill, team work, reporting skill, listening skill and other skills that will be helpful in assisting the seniors community.
Requirements: • COVID-19 - third vaccination or flu vaccine is MUST. • Complete a mandatory Police check. • Training provided.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
Third dose of COVID-19 vaccine or, two doses + a yearly flu vaccine
1 hour/week 2 hours per fortnight. Potential to be hired as a Care Worker (paid job).
