Estates Football Club was established in 1932 and has occupied a range of different training and playing venues including National Park, Reid Park, Townsville State High School and presently; Victoria Park, South Townsville.

With rich tradition behind us, Estates looks forward to a bright future with underlying principles, values and actions as outlined in this plan. We believe that a path forward has emerged for existing and new committee members to drive over the next few years.

The achievements of previous committee members have laid solid foundations for where we are today and by committing to and implementing our new strategic plan, we will ensure continual growth and success even in the face of great challenge.

Estates is in safe hands and will continue to not only survive but thrive and be a prominent community focused organisation for many years to come.

Estates F.C. has a plan to: Provide sound infrastructure to support targeted member growth over the next 3 years without compromising on quality of product Ensure continual improvement and adherence to state peak body guidelines Grow and diversify as a club whilst maintaining a strong identity and independence Promote and partake in shared community responsibility for positive community sport outcomes (social, physical, mental and economical) Remove barriers to participation Provide a road map to successfully manage the club through a COVID19 environment

Currently Estates F.C. has 100 junior members from Under 5s through to Under 12s. Estates has 3 senior men’s teams and 2 senior women’s team.

Estates F.C. has a Licence to Occupy from Townsville City Council on land that is the main field and a Lease Agreement (also with TCC) over the adjacent parcel of land that comprises the club house and storage container. Both agreements have an expiry date in 2021.

Estates F.C. has made significant facility improvements including internal and external club house renovations (male, female and disabled toilet facilities, shared shower facility, canteen upgrades, Home and Away dressing rooms, designated referee room, disabled access ramp) as well as lighting upgrades to the main field to meet the lux level requirement for night games to be held at Victoria Park.

We are looking to support our treasurer with an assistant treasurer!

Responsibilities: Help support the treasurer with monthly financial reporting Be first point of contact for any members entering into a payment plan Budgeting and forecasting Keeping track of expenditure and grant funding Be a positive and enthusiastic member of our team!

Time Required

A few hours a month, attending our monthly committee meeting and annual AGM
