About this opportunity
Country Home Services is a profit-for-purpose organisation based in the South Australia country communities of the Clare Valley, Yorke Peninsula, Wakefield Plains, Mid-North, Adelaide Plains, Light Region, Gawler and the Barossa Valley.
We deliver high quality home care services to elderly clients following referral from My Aged Care. We provide in home services such as social support, domestic assistance and home maintenance.
A key element to our effective delivery of relevant services is having a variety of local community members on our board.
We are currently seeking an additional volunteer Board Member.
Our board is comprised of enthusiastic volunteers with complementary experiences from a diverse range of industries.
The time commitment is low with bimonthly 2 hour board meetings currently rotating between Nuriootpa, Clare and Balaklava.
If you have an interest in contributing to the regional aged care sector in SA, have some relevant business, not-for-profit or government skills and experience, then please get in touch. Previous aged care experience is not necessary.
