Architectural Drawing Volunteer
About this opportunity
About us: Brunswick Neighbourhood House is a not for profit organisation that offers quality educational, social and recreational programs for our community. We also host a small community garden, run events & support local un-incorporated community groups. In response to COVID19 we began a food relief program.
We are seeking a volunteer to assist us with our capital works program. The program will help ensure more people able to use our space, participate in our programs and support our food relief and food rescue efforts. Your role will be to update architectural drawings that we have on file and put in additional modifications (eg split system air-conditioning inverter and condenser). Drawings must be to scale. You will need to use your own software. Autocad or similar program would be ideal. Note that we often receive the file in a PDF format, so they will need to be converted. A site visit may be helpful, but after that it would ideally be work from home.
