Community Connections Tech Support Trial

Seniors & Aged Care Regular - more than 6 months Bunbury WA

About this opportunity

During the Covid lockdowns and Bush fire season, many of our vulnerable clients felt increasingly anxious and further isolated themselves and felt very lonely. We trialed a support program in the Metro and it was very effective. Clients reported feeling more in control of how to access information as well as being less afraid of technology and found ways to connect and also have fun. You don’t have to be an absolute whiz on these devices. What clients needed, was patient people to explain things that we take for granted, like understanding icons, emailing, texting, accessing information, downloading apps, shopping safely on-line… If you have 2-3 hours a week and are 18+, live in Bunbury, then we'd love to hear from you.

Additional requirements

Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.
