About this opportunity

Heritage Visitor Volunteer - Welcome our guests at Reception and inspire them with stories of the past, showcasing historic artefacts in a friendly way. You will be a great advocate for the National Trust and our mission, ensuring our guests have a safe and enjoyable visit from the front entrance through to exit point Tour Guide- inspire visitors with stories of the past, showcasing our 19th century artifacts in the different rooms at the vintage homestead. Education Volunteer- We host groups of excited school children through to tourists far afield, educating them on our QLD heritage and how life was lived in 'the olden days'. Volunteers assist with ensuring our guests have a safe and happy experience that will instil lasting memories.

Grounds, Property and Collection Care Volunteers -
Volunteers come together to have a enjoyable social occasion whilst performing a variety of maintenance tasks including collection care, gardening, cleaning, grounds work and any other property needs.

Time Required

Our volunteer vacancies and shifts differ across our properties, however, we do ask our volunteers to commit to 1 shift a week {approx. 4-6hrs} weekly, for a reasonable length of time.
