Senior Experienced Community Support Worker (CSW)
About this opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in providing guidance and mentorship to the community support workers
- Role model strong conflict resolution and management of incidents
- Identify needs of volunteers and provide support, including the adherence to the agency procedures
- Develop strong working relationships with volunteers and clients and other local support services
- Meet with clients to assess their needs and eligibility -Commit to continuing to build upon knowledge and experience by attending meetings or training.
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
- Good listening and communication skills
- Must be confident and able to be assertive in challenging situations
- Strong computer literacy skills

Time Required
Minimum of 1 x 3 hour shift per week on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Up to 12 hours per week.
