About this opportunity
Plans and manages Catering Budget. Plans menus for regular Club Meetings (morning tea and lunch). Coordinate the purchase, preparation, storage and serving of food and drinks. Ensure good hygiene practices are observed at all times. Keep a list of special dietary requirements. Supports the catering team and works beside them in a positive manner.

Have relevant skills in organising and preparing food and drinks for large groups. Understand good nutrition and be aware of safe food handling and hygiene practices.
Make realistic commitments in terms of time and areas of involvement. Maintain Clubs privacy and confidentiality of Members and Volunteers. Work cooperatively with other Volunteers and maintain a clear open and honest communication. Be considerate and demonstrate genuine concern. Read and comply with Day Clubs Procedure Manual.
Closed in shoes. Long hair must be tied back.
