About this opportunity

Due to the recent growth in services we are seeking a dynamic, critical thinker to facilitate our life and social skills program delivered to young women living with a disability. The Funky Friends program supports women with disabilities to live their life through life skill development and social interaction. You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the term program, actively engaging with program participants.

Successful candidate will be bright and bubbly, able to communicate with a wide range of people and have a genuine passion for helping others. A background in social work, disability care or community services will be highly regarded.

* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
