About this opportunity
This volunteer opportunity will help to maintain and beautify the lovely garden space at The Birch St Hub
Responsibilities of the Gardening role include mowing the lawn, pruning the bushes, maintaining the garden beds. The gardener will also contribute to the creation of a community garden space, working with The Birch St Hub team.
The Birch Street Hub is a warm and fun place to work! We have counselling spaces inside the main building and run events and group workshops from the courtyard space. The Hub is a place where everybody chips in, there is a strong team dynamic where the team members are always helping each other out.
**Tasks involved include: **
- Pruning
- Weeding
- Maintaining garden beds
- General garden maintenance

Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
**Skills Required: **
Experience and confidence with gardening equipment preferred but not required.

Flexible from Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm Minimum of 1 hours per shift
