About this opportunity
The Carer Support Program at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead seeks to provide various activities to support parents and carers in their Carer Wellness program. you need to be fully qualified and have your own insurance. we are looking for people in the following services:
Beauty Therapy
Massage Therapy
Nail Technician
Yoga Teaching
Tai Chi teaching
Reflexology therapy
If you have skills and time to facilitate a class/provide a therapy and can volunteer your skills on either a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis or when suits you. Volunteers should be 18+ years.
To help keep everyone protected during Covid we have numerous protocols in place, every time you come into the hospital you will need to register with a QR, have your temperature checked and check that you haven’t been to any of the new hotspots which are listed at the entry. If you have any symptoms at all you aren’t able to attend. You will be given masks to wear while onsite and there is hand sanitiser to use also.

Own insurance and full qualifications
Time commitment depends on what hours you are able to provide can be as little as 40mins at a time
