About this opportunity
This outing support role, requires you to be reliable, patient, and flexible weekly, have clear speech and understanding of the English language.
The outings are via taxi for which the resident pays. Days of the week will vary.
A reasonable fitness level for wheeling a wheelchair where needed for the resident. The resident is very independent although she needs assistance at times. You will need to share your positive nature, share your kindness and friendship.
Mandatory annual Influenza vaccination and triple vaccination for Covid are required for all Aged Care staff and volunteers.

* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
