About this opportunity
As a volunteer, you would be working with our site Chef Manager and kitchen staff to assist and prepare the foods and dining experience for the elderly residents living in our Aged Care Homes. This is a role that would give you the opportunity to learn new skills, practice existing skills and support our teams and residents. Hospitality covers kitchen hand assist, laundry assist or Cleaning assist. You will receive basic training and expectations at site.
All volunteers must have the annual Influenza vaccinations and the triple Covid-19 vaccinations and a Police clearance to work with vulnerable persons.

* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
Applicants can choose one to three shifts from Monday to Friday. Times are negotiable between 8am-3pm. Weekends shifts available when settled into a role in the team
