About this opportunity

Duties will include: Customer Service: Welcoming and assisting customers, being readily available for customers to approach and to help with their query, process cash and EFTPOS sales through the register, answering telephone calls and liaising with the public and Management. Store Presentation: Creating relevant and eye-catching displays, re-stocking the racks and shelves, maintaining tidiness and shop standards, changing mannequin outfits, colour coding clothing and bric-a-brac, alphabetising books, light general housekeeping duties. Backroom and Stock Preparation: Receiving stock donations from the public, unpack stock and ensure good quality and working order sort and categorise the stock, price stock, hang and steam clothing, accept stock deliveries, maintain an organised and safe backroom. Other: Follow reasonable directions from supervisors and Management, follow relevant policies and procedures, applying safe workplace practices, reporting hazards and incidents, communicating with fellow team members, participate in relevant training and meetings.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *.

Clear communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to work in a team and individually. A willingness to learn and adapt new skills. Punctual and reliable. Honest and trustworthy. Professionally presented. Happy and helpful disposition.

Time Required

Monday to Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm or 9.00am - 1.00pm, 1.00pm - 4.00pm Saturday and Sunday 10.00am -3.00pm
