Community Enterprise Volunteer
About this opportunity
Romsey Neighbourhood House is establishing the Romsey Community Co-Op which will be home to several community-led initiatives with a key focus being “For the Community, By the Community”. This multi-faceted community social enterprise space will be rolled out in stages, with the first stage being the shopfront. The shopfront will be a space for locals to showcase their talents and sell their wares. All profits will be used to support the community.
As a retail assistant at the shopfront, you will be supporting our thriving community!
The role will include providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions using EFTPOS (Square) and maintaining a clean and tidy retail space. The Romsey Community Co-op is COVID safe, so you will be required to perform additional tasks such as surface cleaning and hand hygiene.
So if you:
have a commitment to community,
are punctual and reliable,
have a warm and friendly nature, and great interpersonal and communication skills,
excel in customer service,
have experience with EPTPOS systems/Square,
and are a team player...
please get in touch!
