Supportive Volunteer Coordinator

We are seeking a visionary leader and someone to assist us in building an inspiring team, with the same mission, as the Planetary Healing Artists' for healing the planet for world peace.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assessing organisational volunteer requirements, recruitment responsibilities including attraction, retention and replacement
  • Developing, evaluating and managing a volunteer induction process
  • Developing and managing policies, procedures and standards for volunteers
  • Managing the volunteer database and roster (on-going and during special events)
  • Arranging training and education opportunities
  • Conduct on-going skills audit
  • Developing and promoting innovative ways to recognise and reward volunteer efforts
  • Co-ordinating volunteer communications such as social functions and newsletters
  • Developing and distributing a monthly volunteer newsletter
  • Attending events
  • Reviewing position descriptions and application forms
  • Developing confidentiality and privacy policies
  • Upholding WHS standards including maintaining, developing and implementing policies and processes
  • Resolving conflict and managing the grievance process

Desirable qualities:

  • Professional Human Resource Management experience.
  • Significant experience in developing and managing teams
  • Leadership and influencing skills
  • Ability to liaise at all levels – you will be co-ordinating professional volunteers (Finance, Legal, Marketing, IT), Artistic & Creative volunteers and those seeking experience
  • Project management skills – co-ordinating all volunteers at both our annual events and other ad-hoc events
  • Computer literacy
  • Maintain knowledge of the organization and personal commitment to its goals and objectives
  • Days and times can be flexible with a minimum commitment of four hours per week which can be conducted remotely or in the office
  • Working with Children Check


Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
