BSL RETAIL ASSISTANT VOLUNTEER

Community Services Regular - less than 6 months Melbourne VIC

About this opportunity

The Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL) is a social justice organisation working alongside people experiencing disadvantage to address the fundamental causes of poverty in Australia. We believe no one should live in poverty. It’s why we exist. Our mission is to pursue lasting change; to create a more compassionate and just society where everyone can thrive.

By volunteering in one of our BSL Op Shops, you not only help us provide a valuable service to people in our community, you also help us to raise critical funds to support our range of programs, services and research that support people experiencing disadvantage. Take part in social change for an Australia free of poverty today.

The success of our stores depends on the community contributions, including the generous time donated by our amazing team of volunteers. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed team members, so if you believe in up-cycling, re-cycling, trend-cycling and re-styling towards a more sustainable future this could be the opportunity for you.

We value staff expression and we care about the community who are the heart of our purpose. If you can help us to provide a great customer service experience, a desire to contribute to the BSL mission and want to be part of the recycling, up-cycle and reuse revolution, then we welcome you to join our team.

Get involved today, it’s easy and only takes a minute to apply!
