Toy Library Help on Saturdays 12-2pm

Community Services Regular - less than 6 months Abbotsford VIC

About this opportunity

The Collingwood Toy Library is a not for profit, volunteer-run organisation that assists families by providing children with a changing selection of toys, puzzles and games for a minimal cost. It currently services approximately 580 families in the area and is a vital part of the local community. The Toy Library offers social, cognitive and motor development for young children of all abilities. With our stock of over 4800 toys, puzzles and games we encourage families with young children to enjoy quality time, while reducing their environmental impact. The service also provides an informal meeting place for parents and children, fostering local friendships and combating social isolation. We need someone to come on a regular basis to check and count the toys to ensure they are ready to be borrowed by our member families. The job also requires some cleaning of toys and carrying toys to member's cars.
