About this opportunity
RISE Education program provides students with an incarcerated parent with a dedicated mentor who will provide them with support in the classroom for a 12 month period. The program aims to increase school attendance, educational outcomes, self-esteem and decrease antisocial behaviour and school suspensions.
By becoming a positive role model to a student in need, you are ensuring they don’t just survive a difficult time in their life but that they thrive.

Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
- Current Driver's Licence for travel around Frankston area
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to apply)
- Criminal History Records Check (organised by SHINE for Kids)
- Education or Community Services experience preferred
Our organisation undertakes several screening processes to help us to create a safer organisation for children and young people we support.
