About this opportunity

We are looking for volunteers to meet and greet and assist with the Toy Library collection. You must be comfortable with the physical requirements of the role - lifting and carrying light loads. Various shifts available. We are looking for a friendly and helpful person, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

In this role you will be required to, work collaboratively with and take direction from Library staff. Assist with opening and closing of the Toy Library. Check and clean items on return, reuniting missing pieces, and checking for damaged items. Passing on any feedback from the customer, including requests for particular items. Promote use of Toy Library to Library visitors and explain borrowing and returning processes.
