About this opportunity

Raise Foundation improves the lives of young people in adolescence facing profound challenges through our Raise Mentoring Program. We offer one-on-one mentoring programs to help young people in high schools feel heard, valued and supported and we are currently recruiting for youth mentors in your local area.

Our programs deliver statistically significant improvements for our mentees in regards to goal achievement, resilience, help – seeking behaviours, relationships and hope for the future.

Mentors participating in our programs tell us that mentoring has helped them build their confidence, knowledge of and ability to relate to young people. In addition, mentoring has provided our Mentors with personal growth and a sense of purpose and giving back.

Are you a good listener and able to act as a sounding board for ideas and aspirations? Your life experiences and genuine, compassionate interest in helping young people can positively impact the life of a young person in your local community.
