About this opportunity
Benefits to the volunteer: Volunteers become part of the overall Northern Healthcare Volunteer team. On rostered days, Volunteers are provided with validated parking and are covered by insurance whilst on duty.
A uniform is provided. Guides receive training, induction and support. In addition to regular duties, volunteers are invited to social occasions and are recognised for their service.

*As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
Shifts are: 8:15 am - 12:15 & 12:15 - 4:15 pm
