About this opportunity

Driver for mobile kitchen trucks and fleet vehicles towing equipment to site. Will work under direct of shift lead and/or Team Leader.

Key Tasks

Drive vehicles to jobs. Clean vehicles. Pre-start checklist prior to operating vehicles/towing. Refuel vehicles Refuel generators Report any issues with equipment. Will work under direct of shift lead and/or Team Leader.

The Salvation Army Emergency Services provide meals and refreshments to our emergency services crews as they protect our communities. We are on call 24/7 during fire season. Driver's Licence (MR) . National Police Certificate *.

Time Required

Monthly rosters per requirements, more availability required during the Threat Season (October to April). Call-out 24/7. 6 hour rosters 0500, 1100, 1700, 2300. Double shifts discouraged.
