Native Plant Nursery Enthusiasts
About this opportunity
Want to help restore our native bushland? Bassendean Preservaton Group (BPG) is a local community bushcare group. We are looking for volunteers to help out at our native plant nursery in Ascot on Wednesday mornings, on a regular basis. Also to help out with bushland plantings on occasional weekend mornings throughout the year, mostly in winter. We plant around the Bassendean area, mostly around the foreshore and wetland areas. You are welcome to come on either Wednesdays, weekends, or both. We particularly would like to find volunteers who are interested in learning to supervise activities at the plant nursery; and volunteers who have a vehicle which could sometimes pull our trailer on planting mornings.
