Have you always wanted to work behind a bar, but lacks experience, maybe looking at a career change or retired and looking for that extra social connection and mental stimulation? Perhaps you have worked behind the bar and want to keep your skills current while looking for paid employment?
You will be helping the Bar Manager with patron service, stock control and clearing of the beer lines and maintaining a clean and tidy workplace | bar, with progression to solely operating the bar (on call assistance, if required).
Other opportunities (Non mandatory) Assisting with annual functions (ANZAC day, Rats of Tobruk Commemoration, Veterans Health Week, Monthly music nights, AFL Grand Final, Melbourne Cup and Christmas Party).
We are a small fully volunteer operated club, requiring one attendant working the bar on most days, with a majority of the customers being Veterans and Club members.

We are looking for someone who is trustworthy and reliable and willing to work with minimum supervision after an initial training period. Have great customer service and willing to learn what is required to work behind a bar. Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate is required. RSA will be reimbursed after successfully volunteering regularly for 6 months.
Negotiable hours open to discussion, flexible hours available a minimum 5 hrs per week. Centrelink Obligation hours available.Suitable for
