About this opportunity
We are seeking a Volunteer Visitor for a charming, well-travelled and conversational gentleman living in a Meadow Springs residential aged care facility. A carpenter by trade, Jeff* enjoyed working with his hands for much of his working life as well as working at a museum restoring archaeological finds. He has worked on Aboriginal sites and has backpacked around India and and Europe. Jeff is now visually impaired with short-term memory loss. He would appreciate someone to chat to and would enjoy being read to. He is friendly and easy to have an interesting and reciprocal conversation with. Volunteer Visiting is flexible to suit your schedule.
