About this opportunity
People Who Care require people with a good driving record to transport seniors living at home who require some extra support to enable them to stay in their local community. The basis of this service is ensure the safe transportation of our clients to and from their home for social appointments and other activities in a comfortable People Who Care bus.
If you have an LR licence and a happy and friendly manner then we would love to hear from you and we would be grateful for 3-6 hours/week/fortnight.
Must be able to use a GPS.
Driver's Licence (LR) . National Police Certificate *.
Potential Volunteers must hold a current minimum LR class driver licence. People Who Care will conduct a mandatory police check at our cost.You will also need to complete on-line driver training assessment. Induction and WHS training will be conducted by the coordinator. COVID-19 training online.
