About this opportunity

As a warehouse assistant your duties will include helping to load and unload deliveries, move furniture, stack furniture in the truck and also move furniture and goods around the warehouse.

Experience moving furniture is an advantage but not essential. Training will provided by experienced personnel.

Volunteers need to be fit and healthy and be able to assist with carrying household goods and furniture - trolleys and ramps are provided. 'C" class licence desirable but not essential.


Additional requirements

Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.

Good for volunteers of varying skill levels and people who like “hands on” volunteering
and looking for work experience. Must be physically fit and able to move furniture and goods around using trolleys and ramps. "c" class licence desirable, but not essential.

Time Required

5 days per week – Monday to Friday Shifts and hours are flexible to suit your schedule.
