Printmaking technician
About this opportunity
The successful applicant will contribute to the care and operation of the printmaking workshop including the management and maintenance of equipment. Experience and competence in a range of printmaking techniques is desirable - screenprinting, lithography, intaglio and relief printmaking processes and associated equipment and materials. The post holder will have a knowledge and understanding of the hazards associated with printmaking equipment and processes; those related to the use of printing presses, chemical handling, maintenance of specialist equipment, and experience of relevant safe working practices and knowledge of appropriate WH&S procedures. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Work times will vary and are flexible, depending upon the events or workshops being delivered.

A few hours each week depending upon the program being delivered, and any maintenance required for the presses or equipment
