Meal Deliveries for Laneway Cafe - a cafe without borders: Horsham Rural City
About this opportunity
Meal deliveries will be contactless and will involve no money-handling. Currently the deliveries are being made at lunch time.
Volunteers will need to have a National Police Check and Working with Children Check (Victoria) as a minimum for this role.
Volunteers will need to be healthy and well and have no contact with anyone who is ill. Note that the COVID-19 virus can remain on surfaces for quite a length of time, therefore, hand and food hygiene will be of extreme importance in this role.
A health statement will need to be signed. It is also to be understood that all volunteers MUST stop volunteering if they know they have been in contact with someone who has any kind of respiratory illness, whether the person has been tested for COVID-19 or not. Volunteers must also immediately stop volunteering if they themselves become unwell.
Volunteers registered with Centre for Participation will be covered by our Volunteer Accident Insurance Policy and the Traffic Accident Commission.
